On May 9, 2025, ground was broken for a $1.6 billion 12-story trauma hospital on the existing Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital campus in northeast Houston. The new hospital is expected to open in early 2029. It will be run by Harris Health System and affiliated with UTHealth Houston.

Thanks to Davis Cohen Art, which not only represents my own work but also is in charge of art planning for the new hospital, I have been accepted into the Prequalified Roster of Artists for the LBJ Campus Expansion project. This puts me in a strong position for commissions or other future opportunities.
